Baisakhi Celebrated in Victoria Public School
All the Victorians celebrated Baisakhi with great enthusiasm. Mr. O.P. Maahar, The Director of VPS, told about the importance of this festival. A number of cultural items were prepared and performed by the Victorians.
Victorians Got Prizes
On the occasion of Baisakhi the position holders in all the standards including the students getting A' grades were given away the prizes and certificates. Three students RamRai, Manpreet, and Gurwinder Singh got the 100% attendance awards, Participants of cultural activities were appreciated with prizes.
Independence Day celebration
The Seventieth Anniversary of Independence Day was celebrated on 15-08-2016 with great enthusiasm. Cultured programme was presented on the occasion. The Director and Principal congratulated the staff and the students on the Independence Day.
Inter House Competition
Inter House competitions are organized regularly in the school. The prizes of the winners were given away of 15 August.
Tree Plantation Drive
15 August programme was started with a Tree Plantation Drive by the Eco Club of the school. The Director and The Principal along with the students planted the trees to mark the occasion.
Teacher’s Day Celebration
Victorians celebrated the Teacher’s Day in a graceful way on 5th September on the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Radha Krishnan. Teachers were honoured with mementoes by the Director Sh. O.P. Maahar. A Tea Party was also organized in respect of the teachers by the school officials.
Painting Competition
VPS organized a Painting Competition on October 15th on Energy Conservation. Students of 4th to 8th standard participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. The Principal appreciated the paintings of the participants and congratulated them.
Dipawali Celebration
Victorians celebrated Deepawali festival in the school campus with the staff members and officials of the school. Stage performances were given by the kids to mark the occasion. The Principal of VPS wished all and one for an enlightened future.
Children’s Day Celebration
VPS celebrated the Children’s Day on 14th November with cultural activities.
The Director Sh. O.P. Maahar and Principal Mrs. Manju Maahar conveyed their greetings and blessings to the students on this occasion.
